The AVPH8 is Great for hunting & outdoor activities since it has a Wind-resistant throat microphone makes communication clear, even in windy environments and Midland Includes a multifunctional, water resistant PushToTalk button that simplifies the process of quickly activating the radio with a swivel clip. The In-Ear Speaker with Accoustic Sound Tube delivers crystal clear sound with built-in vibration sensors. This throat mic has a lapel clip with an inline VOX-PTT switch and is compatible with all GXT, LXT and G-series models.
