Most new Uniden products carry a one year manufacturer’s warranty from the date
of purchase. Please save your receipt for proof of purchase. See your warranty
documents included with the product for more details.
Uniden Repair process is designed to enhance your experience by making it simple
to start your repair order and to get your issue resolved quickly.
Important Announcement
To better serve you, our customers, Uniden Service Inc. does not repair cordless
telephones or two- way radios. Rather than be serviced by a Uniden technician
these products will either be replaced under the Uniden Replacement Program (In
Warranty Customers) or offered a discounted replacement under the Uniden Loyalty
Program (Out of Warranty Customers).
Warranty Service
In order to have your unit handled under "Warranty" you must provide the
following items:
•Your name, phone number, and shipping address.
•The serial number and model number of the unit that needs warranty service.
•A copy of the receipt you received when you purchased the unit that needs
warranty service.
•A credit card, money order, or check to pay for shipping and handling of the
replacement unit.
**If you do not have a copy of the receipt then we can not verify you as the
original retail owner and can not verify the unit as being purchased "new".
Therefore your unit will be handled via the “Out of Warranty” service
procedure.**
Out of Warranty Service
In order to have your unit handled "Out of Warranty" you must provide the
following items:
•Your name, phone number, and shipping address.
•A credit card to pay for shipping & handling and the cost of the replacement
unit.
Replacement Program
The replacement program is designed to better serve Uniden customers by making
it simple to start their service repair order and to get their issue resolved
quickly. This program is used to handle IN WARRANTY customers by replacing your
cordless telephone, accessory handset, or two-way radio without requiring you to
send the product to a repair facility. When determining a suitable replacement
the program takes into consideration the technology and features of the original
model that is in need of warranty service. If the same model is available then
it will be used to replace your unit, if the same model is not available then a
comparable unit will be used to replace your unit. Your order will be processed
when we receive a copy of your receipt either via fax or mail.
Uniden Loyalty Program
The loyalty program is an easy and quick option to replace your unit. This
program is used to handle OUT of WARRANTY customers. This program offers a
“Loyalty” discount on the purchase price of a cordless telephone, accessory
handset, or two-way radio purchased directly from Uniden.
Please call 1-800-297-1023 to start your replacement order. Uniden Customer
Service Representatives are available to help you determine which program you
qualify for and process your replacement order.
