WHISTLER Ka MAX MODE POP RADAR LASER DETECTOR
Whistler's Pro-78SE is a detector that maximizes sensitivity and minimizes falsing. Ka Max Mode gives you improved Ka Band sensitivity. Take advantage of 360-degree coverage for all radar and laser bands, Whistler's patented POP-mode detection, and a wealth of other features in this Pro-78se. The enhanced high performance detector can find laser atlanta stealth mode, ka max mode and has improved ka band sensitivity.
The Whistler Pro 78 SE also delivers a set of blue alert LEDs on the top of the unit and true VG-2 immunity. With the Whistler Pro 78 SE you have Ka MAX MODE for improved range and detection. The Pro 78 SE contains Whistler's improved antenna that offers considerably better Ka sensitivity and false alert filtering over models.
The Pro-78SE Laser-Radar Detector has a quiet mode, city/highway function, and dual alerts to warn you if multiple threats are received. Always know what's around the corner with the Pro78 series from Whistler.
The Pro 78 SE also offers all of the features you would expect in a high performance detector. It will detect POP mode radar and provides Whistler's Real Voice™ alerts. The Pro78 SE provides an intense blue text display with and auto-dim feature, which makes the Pro 78 SE easy to read both day and night. Designed with the professional in mind. The Pro 78 SE includes a hardwire kit and a non-skid dash pad, and three year warranty.
What's in the box:
NOTE: Radar Detector laws varies from state to state, but detectors are generally legal in private vehicles under the Communications Act of 1934 and illegal in commercial vehicles by DOT regulation. Radar jammers are illegal under federal law.

Radar Detectors:
Whistler's current radar detectors are warranted to the original purchaser for a
period of one year (Some SE models and Remote Radar Detectors have longer
warranty periods.) from the date of original purchase against all defects in
materials and workmanship, as long as a dated proof of purchase is provided. For
older radar detector models (1500 series and below), check the old product
warranty chart for more information on these models.
Power Inverters:
Whistler's current (2003 model year GO-AC models and 1250 watt and larger units)
power inverters are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of two
years from the date of original purchase against all defects in materials and
workmanship.
GPS Receivers, Voice Recorders, MP3 Players:
These products are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of one year
from the date of original purchase against all defects in materials and
workmanship.
This limited warranty is void if the unit is abused, modified, installed
improperly, if the housing has been removed, wires cut, damage by battery
leakage or corrosion (if applicable) or if the serial number is missing. There
are no express warranties covering this product other than those set forth in
this warranty. All express or implied warranties for current Whistler product's
are limited to one year, (SE models, remote radar detectors and inverters are
longer). Whistler is not liable for damages arising from the use, misuse, or
operation of this product. Whistler is also not responsible for
installation/reinstallation charges.
Note: Missing accessories must be reported to customer service within 30 days of purchase. A copy of the original receipt and your name and shipping address will be required.
Service Under Warranty
During the warranty period, defective units will be repaired without charge to
the purchaser when returned with a dated store receipt to the address below.
NOTE: If your unit was replaced under warranty, it is still warranted ONLY from
the date of original purchase, not from the date of replacement. Units returned
without a dated store receipt will be handled as described in section "Service
Out Of Warranty."
Due to the specialized equipment necessary for testing a radar/laser receiver,
there are no authorized service stations for Whistler products other than
Whistler.
When returning a unit for service under warranty, please follow these
instructions:
1. Ship the unit in the original carton or in a suitable sturdy equivalent,
fully insured, with return receipt requested to:

IMPORTANT: Whistler will not assume responsibility for loss or damage incurred
in shipping. Therefore, please ship your unit insured with return receipt
requested.CODs will not be accepted!
2. Include with your unit the following information, clearly printed:
Your name and street address (for shipping via UPS), a daytime telephone number
and email address, if applicable.
A detailed description of the problem (e.g., "Unit performs self-test but does
not respond to radar").
A copy of your dated store receipt or bill of sale.
3. Be certain your unit is returned with its serial number.
Units without serial numbers are not covered under warranty.
IMPORTANT: To validate that your unit is within the warranty period, make sure
you keep a copy of the dated store receipt. You may register your warranty
online at www.whistlergroup.com, however, for warranty verification purposes, a
copy of your dated store receipt must accompany any unit sent in for warranty
work.
Service Out Of Warranty
Units will be repaired at "out of warranty" service rates when:
The unit's original warranty has expired.
A copy of the dated store receipt is not supplied.
The unit has been returned without its serial number.
The unit has been abused, modified, installed improperly, or had its housing
removed.
Check the radar detectors owner's manual for the minimum out of warranty service
fee for your Whistler product. If you require out of warranty service, please
return your unit as outlined in the section "Service Under Warranty" along with
a certified check or money order for the appropriate amount. Payment may also be
made by MasterCard, VISA or American Express; personal checks are not accepted.
In the event the minimum service fee cannot cover repairs, a Whistler technical
service specialist will contact you to outline options available. If you elect
not to have your unit repaired/replaced, it will be returned to you along with
your certified check or money order.
IMPORTANT: When returning your unit for service, be certain to include a daytime
telephone number or email address.
