PRO3450
WHISTLER PRO SERIES OUT OF SIGHT RADAR LASER DETECTOR
The Whistler Pro Series 3450 is designed to stay out of sight. This high performance radar detector includes an antenna that mounts under the hood, and a control panel that can be mounted anywhere inside your car! The Pro 3450 control panel features a high intensity blue directional display. This display allows you to have the text displayed horizontally, vertically, or upside down -- allowing you full control over where to mount the unit. This model detects the new POP mode radar, and includes 3 city modes to reduce false alerts.
The Whistler Pro-3450 is equipped with a highly visible alpha-numeric display capable of displaying over 60 easy-to-understand messages. Voice alerts can be added by purchasing the optional Voice Module. The Pro 3450 can display the outside temperature, and your current battery voltage. The Whistler Pro Series 3450 responds to all types of radar currently in use by police, including the new POP mode radar gun. This model provides 360 degree detection of all types of laser guns. The Whistler Pro 3450 is immune to the VG-2 detector, and provides alerts when VG-2 is in use. The alpha-numeric display allows for full support of SWS alerts, including detailed information messages.
Radar gun manufacturers have stepped up to the plate. The new arsenal they carry is called POP™ Mode. This new gun is a normal K or Ka band radar gun detectable by most radar detectors made in the past 30 years, unless the gun is placed in POP™ Mode. POP™ Mode is a feature on some newer radar guns operating on K and Ka bands. When the gun is in POP™ Mode and activated, a brief burst of energy, less that 1/15 of a second, is transmitted and the vehicle’s speed is quickly acquired. A detector without POP™ Mode detection capability cannot respond to this brief transmission. This detector has the power to re p o rt this new gun where other detectors cannot! - until now!
Whistler introduces the Pro-3450 with POP™ Mode detection! ThePro-3450 is the beginning in total protection. With POP™ Mode detection, the Pro-3450 can react fast enough to detect this new technology. Packed with power you still have a full featured radar detector: INTENSE BLUE TEXT DISPLAY provides distinct visual confirmation of signals detected, signal strength, and indicates engaged modes of operation. DIRECTIONAL DISPLAY allows control panel to be mounted 3 different ways and viewed correctly. Even though the Pro-3450 is packed full of features, it’s still very easy to use.
