Product Description

RLC250

WHISTLER 1.6 COLOR DISPLAY RED LIGHT - SPEED CAMERA WARNING SYSTEM

Whistler's new RLC 250 is a red light and speed camera warning systems. The RLC-250 instead has a 1.6", easy to read, multi-color display. The RLC250 compares your current GPS location with an on-board database of red light and speed camera locations and alerts you when you are near one.

It is also a compact unit. You only need to have a clear GPS signal, it can be mounted just about anywhere on the dash. Yes, that means even on top of the driver's side console. Just make sure it has an unobstructed path for a clear GPS signal. The device compares your vehicle's current location (using GPS) against an on-board database of thousands of known red light camera and speed camera locations. Free updates are included for one year, installable via USB on your home PC, and you can enter your own custom locations.

Know where red light and speed cameras are located with the Whistler RLC-250 Red Light/Speed Detector. No installation is required and it's easily programmed with the Verilight™ database so it's never out of date. This database does not rely on consumer input for camera locations. Relying on assistance from end users to update a database may result in many locations and alerts. Simply plug in a USB cable, connect to a PC and update. Includes free updates for one year.

Plenty of bonus features are also included, such as a remote control, Dual Alert Display, Stay Alert, 1.6? OLED Color display, Current Speed Reading with Max Hold Feature, Manual Entry Function for up to 100 Locations, Digital Clock, MPH / KPH Option, Trip meter, Selectable Speed Warning, Compass headings. Accessories include: Power Cord, Non skid dash pad, USB cable, magnetic disk mount, alcohol pad. The Whistler RLC-100 or RLC-250 operates from the VerilightTM database, which is updated by a professional POI company.
